And now presenting...

In 2018, the St. Gertrude Players will proudly present

Disney's The Lion King Jr.

The Lion King Jr. is a mythic coming-of-age tale of a young lion cub’s journey to adulthood and acceptance of his royal destiny. The African Savannah will come to life as the young cub interacts with his father Mufasa, the King of the Jungle, Sarabi, his mother, Nala, Simba’s childhood friend, Zazu, the King’s majordomo, Scar, his evil uncle, and the bumbling pair of Pumbaa, the warthog and Timon, the meerkat. Eventually Simba must take on his responsibility and restore his home, a ravaged Pride Lands, and fulfill his destiny to be king. The Lion King is a story of love and redemption that the whole family will enjoy.
